Congratulations to the 2016 Sponsorship Contest Winner Wylene Wilson Davis
Two Time Mustang Makeover Challenge Winner Wylene Wilson Davis joins the Kimes Ranch Family
SCOTTSDALE, AZ—Two Time Mustang Over Challenge Winner and clinician, Wylene Wilson Davis joined the Kimes Ranch sponsored athletes after securing the most votes in the yearly sponsorship contest held on the Kimes Ranch website.
The Arizona native was one of 15 entrants selected to move on from the over 150 entries of mounted shooters, NRHA professionals, All-Around competitors, rodeo athletes, announcers and photographers.
“I’m an Arizona girl but it was actually a friend from Colorado that texted me about the contest, saying I should enter.”
After 2,258 voters were counted and verified, Davis came out on top.
“I have some really great friends and clients. I’m really grateful to have support and to be picked.”
When asked what he loves about Kimes Ranch, Davis expressed appreciation for the simplicity.
“I’m hard to fit and don’t really care for the Miss Me and other sparkly brands. I consider myself to be a punchy, ranchy type girl. I ride everyday. I need jeans that fit me well and that can also look good going out.”
Davis currently resides on a cattle ranch in Missouri with her husband Randall and three children. She is gearing up to compete aboard her horse Steal My Heart in the Mustang Magic competition held at the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo January 21-13 and has a slew of clinics on her roster for 2016.
Davis joins renowned National Reining Horse Association (NRHA), National Reined Cow Horse Association (NRCHA) and American Quarter Horse Association (AQHA) riders and professionals including: Shadd Parkinson, Brad Lund, Leslie Lang, Bud Lyon, Patrick Flaherty, Robin Frid, Wade Parks, Wade Spell and last year’s winner Brandon Davis. As well as four time Canadian World Champion Chuckwagon driver Jason Glass.
Kimes Ranch will join Professionals Choice and JW Brooks Custom Hats as Wylene Wilson Davis’ sponsor.

Founded in 2009, Kimes Ranch (formerly Longhorn Jean Company) was created to fill a void in the marketplace. With a long standing western history, Matt and Amanda Kimes’ desire was to create a company that produced great fitting, quality, long lasting jeans that walked the line between fashion-forward and western folk friendly.
The brands catchy logo and even more attractive company culture and customer service have brought them a cult-like following amongst their western consumers. The classically inspired line of jeans, have been featured in magazines including American Cowboy, Horse & Rider, Cowboys and Indians and Chrome Magazine.
Kimes Ranch. Superior Fit. Classic Style. Western Uncomplicated.
