Olivia Townsend

Winner of the Kimes Ranch Model Search and the New Face of Kimes Ranch 2019

I am an 18 year old college freshman from North Carolina. I have been riding for 15 years and rodeoing for 12 of those! I’m very passionate about rodeo and in particular breakaway and team roping. I competed as an all around cowgirl for 8 years, and decided to focus on my true passion of roping. I’ve been all over the US competing.

I am a 5 year National High School Finals qualifier, and have won champion and reserve champion respectively in my state. I compete as a breakaway roper in the SRA (Southern Rodeo Association) and travel the entire southeast competing and have in my rookie year placed 5th going into finals this year. I also compete in the IPRA, (International Pro Rodeo Association) and plan to buy my card to go for rookie. I have won many rodeos, many jackpots, many titles and buckles.

I have been extremely blessed with opportunity. I am also passionate about my modeling career. For 3 years I have worked diligently to be a successful model. I am a product model for many companies including NRS, as I made cover for the 2018 fall/winter catalog, along with their print and social marketing aspects, Bex Sunglasses as a paid product model, American Hat Co. as a brand ambassador and upcoming catalog model. I work with many companies like Liberty Black as well.

And with all that being said, I’m just a country girl who loves fashion and loves to cowgirl! I believe that nothing beats hard work and dedication, because I’ve had to work for everything I’ve got! I’m a first generation cowgirl! I own a small herd of beef cows that I built myself from raising bottle babies, which is less than glamorous, I promise. I have a herd of 30 now and am using this as a tool to help pay for things like rodeo and college. I aspire to model and cowgirl my entire life. These careers are a permanent fixture in my life and I plan to put forth what it takes to be successful at both.
