Chris Anderson

Thank you for taking the time to read a little bit about me, and what I love to do everyday.  I am blessed to run a successful horse training business where I grew up in Merino, Colorado.  I am married and have an 18 month old son and a daughter due to arrive in February.  I have been riding as a professional for the past ten years and am lucky to support my family doing what I love- training, roping and showing horses.  Most of the horses I train are rope horses that continue on to the AQHA horse shows or become high-level jackpot and rodeo competitors.  It is a lot of fun to train a team roping horse but I have a soft spot for my young calf roping horses and steer roping horses.  I have begun competing at the NRCHA shows this year and have had some success in the Limited Divisions.  I hope to continue learning from the best in this event and continue my success.  When there is free time from horse shows I enjoy competing in the PRCA steer roping.  This has been a passion of mine since I was younger and there is not a greater thrill than tripping a fresh steer in Cheyenne, Wyoming every July!
