Administrative Assistant

Part-time, Internship

As the Administrative Assistant , Success Looks Like The Following:

You communicate effectively

 

  • You communicate and are able to problem solve and communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and Kimes Ranch Team

  • Dedicate time and attention to assisting customers using proper phone etiquette to effectively solve problems, answer questions and ensure that the customer feels his or her needs have been met or exceeded.

  • Supports accounting operations by filing documents, running reports and various data entry functions

  • Maintain A/R integrity

  • Maintain A/P integrity

  • Issuing credits or assisting with other financial account adjustments, when necessary

  • Accurately/timely processing collections calls/letters, respond to customer inquiries

  • Assisting Staff Accountant with other assigned tasks

You are a direct individual responsible (DIR) for the assignments that are assigned to you.

  • You enjoy being able to ‘roll up your sleeves’ and will play a critical role in completing and the follow up of your assignments in a timely manner.

  • Work with other office staff members to ensure that documentation and customer information is entered and tracked properly.

Part-time

Kimes Ranch is seeking a Western Fashion Blogger. This assignment will post a weekly blog on KimesRanch.com keeping readers up to date with latest fashion trends in the rodeo, horse show and equestrian worlds.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Manage blog platforms, including writing and editing content and publishing

  • Maintain editorial calendar and keep publishing process organized

  • Create or acquire appropriate images and share images to compliment articles

  • Use Canva Tool to create captivating graphics for sharing

  • Reinforce writing/blogging/publishing best practices and guidelines

  • Communicate with with Director of Marketing to establish marketing calendar

  • Use proven editing skills and editing guidelines to revise blog posts and other social content in conformity to content standards

  • Report metrics and track statistics to gauge success of published content, making content recommendations as needed

Preferred Experience:

  • Western Fashion Involvement

  • Willing to seek out new trends and explore DIY topics

Kimes Ranch is seeking a Rodeo Blogger. This assignment will post a weekly blog on KimesRanch.com keeping readers up to date with latest results, events, news and athletes related to rodeo.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Manage blog platforms, including writing and editing content and publishing

  • Maintain editorial calendar and keep publishing process organized

  • Create or acquire appropriate images and share images to compliment articles

  • Use Canva Tool to create captivating graphics for sharing

  • Reinforce writing/blogging/publishing best practices and guidelines

Kimes Ranch is seeking a blogger immersed in the horse show world. This assignment will post a weekly blog on KimesRanch.com keeping readers up to date on the newest trends, techniques, and turn of events on the horse show circuits.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Manage blog platforms, including writing and editing content and publishing

  • Maintain editorial calendar and keep publishing process organized

  • Create or acquire appropriate images and share images to compliment articles

  • Use Canva Tool to create captivating graphics for sharing

  • Reinforce writing/blogging/publishing best practices and guidelines

  • Communicate with with Director of Marketing to establish marketing calendar

  • Use proven editing skills and editing guidelines to revise blog posts and other social content in conformity to content standards

  • Report metrics and track statistics to gauge success of published content, making content recommendations as needed

Preferred Experience: 

  • Actively showing or attending shows

  • Willing to develop new content, reach out to trainers and exhibitors and capture images.

Warehouse Staff

Full-time - Day Shift, Night Shift 

Scottsdale, Arizona United States · Shipping, Receiving and Inventory 


Kimes Ranch is seeking hard-working warehouse staff. This position includes performing a variety of functions including but not limited to packaging, and shipping customer and vendor orders, receiving and organizing incoming product. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepares orders by understanding packing slips, pulling product, packing boxes, placing orders in delivery area

  • Ability to learn software in order to finalize orders and shipping

  • Organizing and retrieving stock in the warehouse

  • Sort and place product on racks, and shelves according to organizational standards

  • Ability or willingness to operate machinery

  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment by keeping product shelves, work stations and warehouse organized

We currently have two openings. 

Day Shift – 7am to 3pm. Duties are to include but not limited to shipping and receiving. 

Night Shift – 12pm to 8pm. Duties are to include but are not limited to restocking and receiving.
