Cereal Coated French Toast

I am always looking for new ways to change up a regular meal. This cereal coated French Toast was a hit in my house and added the perfect crunch and sweetness.

INGREDIENTS:

Brioche or Croissant Bread

6 eggs

1/4 cup of heavy cream or whole milk

1 tbsp. of cinnamon

1 tsp. of vanilla extract

Cereal of your choice (Rice Krispy’s, Frosted Flakes, Captain Crunch...

DIRECTIONS:

Beat together eggs, cream, cinnamon, and vanilla in a shallow dish. Soak slices of bread on each side until well coated. Press bread into cereal until coated on all sides.

Grill in buttered pan over medium heat, or griddle at 350° until golden. Serve with syrup, whipped cream, and powdered sugar.
