Valentines Day Styles by Western Couture

ith Valentine’s Day quickly approaching, many of us are already pre-planning the perfect holiday ensemble!  If you’re anything like me, then you likely are looking for ways in incorporate shades of pink or red into your look.  It’s fun to keep that Valentine’s Day theme alive but important that you don’t go over the top.  The last thing you want is to end up looking like a walking, talking DIY Valentine’s Day card.  I pulled out some of my favorite Kimes Ranch pieces and pulled together three looks that can be easily recreated using items from your own closet or perhaps something new from Kimes!

You can’t go wrong in black!  It’s so easy to create a stunning and stand out look layering in your favorite black pieces.  I paired my Kimes Bonnie skinny jeans with a lace trimmed cami and black velvet kimono.  Topped off this look with a felt hat, black heels and a leopard print clutch!  I love that this look features both bold and romantic accents!  This look feels both high fashion and a little boho—either way, you’re sure to feel confident in this outfit.

Looking for a way to add a little more feminine touch to some of those old tees in your closet?  Try pairing a graphic tee with a fun and flirty skirt for a super edgy feel!   I paired my favorite men’s Kimes logo tee with a vintage floral skirt.  I decided rather than heels, I’d style some over the knee boots and a black hat.  A touch of feminine and a whole lot of rock and roll!

If you’re looking for a more casual Valentine’s Day look then try something like this!  Start with some great basics:  I paired my Bonnie Skinny Jeans with a pink and leopard print Kimes logo tank.  I added a fun, floral embroidered leather jacket and a pink felt hat!  I really wanted to play of those typical Valentine’s Day colors and I tried to find ways to unexpectedly blend in different shades of pink!

Regardless of your holiday plans, whether they’re out on the town or simply sitting at home, look for ways to creatively incorporate feminine prints, materials and colors into your look!  Valentine’s Day doesn’t have to be the usual “little black dress”.  Find a style and look all your own, and as always, enjoy your holiday!
