2ND Annual Alan J. Hildreth Memorial Bronc Riding
I'm writing this blog post to you guy's from a McDonald's at 3:52 PM in the Afternoon in Hardin, MT. Monday or Tuesday of this week I will be able to get my WI-FI hooked up and I can not wait. I have literally been gypsying it trying to find WI-FI in this small town!! I have an amazing story to share with you all about an amazing bronc rider named, Alan J. Hildreth.
Alan J. Hildreth. Named after a rancher from Colorado. This Rancher had a ranch in Germany that recruited bronc riders from Frankfurt, Germany US military base. Alan J. Hildreth, started his rodeo career by riding sheep and than he moved onto the Indian Junior Rodeo Assoc. as a bareback rider. As years passed, Alan. J. Hildreth, started competing in various Indian Rodeo Assoc. In 2012, Alan decided to switch things up and try saddle bronc riding up until March of 2013. In 2013, Alan's goal was to make the 2013 Indian National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas, Nevada. But, Alan's goal was cut short. Alan's, life ended too soon unexpectedly. Alan, left behind his 3 year old son and another one that was on the way. Today, Alan's friends and family carry on his name in the rodeo industry. Every year Alan's friends and Family put together a Memorial Bronc Riding Event. This years event was on Sept. 12th in Oak Springs, AZ!
Alright, Enough talking.. Who wants to let the pictures do the talking now? Thank you to the Alan. J. Hildreth family for sharing these pictures with me and lettingshare Alan's story. I hope you all enjoy!
