Paige Morgan: Who I am and what I wear
I’ve always loved western fashion: the leather, fringe, turquoise, rhinestones and studs. The adaptability of a classic well-shaped cowboy hat, starched jeans and boots has held my heart and shaped my life. That love, is what lead me to pursue a relationship with Kimes Ranch.
If you’re reading this then you too love what Kimes Ranch stands for: “Classic style. Western Uncomplicated.”
I live in cowboy boots and a great pair of jeans even at the office. On the weekends (and the occasional weeknight), you’ll find me at horse show (NRHA/IRHA, APHA or AQHA), a rodeo, barrel race or the occasional team roping. It’s in my blood.
My mom is the owner/trainer at M&M Show Horses, and my dad is a journeyman pipe-fitter by day and team roper by night so in every sense of the phrase I have “the best of both worlds”. From a young age, I learned the value of hard work and what it takes to succeed both in and out of the arena.
Utah born and raised, I graduated from Utah State University in December 2012 with two Bachelor’s Degrees. While attending I was an active member of the USU Rodeo Team, Equestrian Team, Country Swing Club and the Agricultural Communication & Journalism Club. I love rodeo, horse shows, the western way of life and like any good woman, rhinestones!
An obvious sucker for the flashy things in life, I own a wild-colored American Paint Horse, two “good ol’ boy babysitter” rope horses, a sassy mini horse named “Biggie Smalls”, the coolest looking cowdog cross named Scout, over 25 pairs of cowboy boots and a closet full of belts, purses and cowboy hats.
For the readers of this blog, the many avenues of the equestrian world that I’ve travelled and tried I hope will provide a broad range of topics, looks and even some humor to your Mondays.
