Growing up in the western industries has instilled a work ethic I will forever be grateful for. Both my Mom and Dad trained horses for the public when I was younger. As a kid I was either in the barn doing what I could to help with the training or at horse shows. When I was in high school I was involved in a bad horse wreck that fractured my pelvis and 2 vertebrae in my lower back, ending my sports career. After a long recovery I decided I would follow in my parents footsteps and become a full time trainer. I graduated early and started riding for whoever would have me in the Whitesboro area as well as show fitted horses for Terry Beadshaw. I received a rodeo scholarship to Vernon College where I competed for 3 semesters. Going into the Christmas break my sophomore year I received an offer to be the Head Trainer at Tee Cross Ranches by the Norris family. Accepting the offer in January of 2015 I moved north where I have remained since. In December of 2015 I was promoted to Foreman and I now oversee the entire horse operation. In the spring of 2018 the Norris family decided to start showing horses again with myself piloting. We’ve had a great first year and are exited to see what the future brings.
