Wylene Wilson Davis
Who is one of 6 children, Grew up on her family's farm in Mesa Arizona. She Started riding horses at a very young age, her mother encouraged her interest and promoted her talent. Through the years of practice and participation, with instruction and coaching, her confidence bloomed as well as her experience and knowledge.
Her love of horses and extreme horsemanship riding has paved the way for her success and career with horses.
She started out practicing and running at the local gymkhanas, rodeos, and jackpots.. Where she was Building a reputation for being fast and fearless with a big smile. By the time she reached her freshman year in high school, she had won a state championship in partnership with becoming a national high school rodeo finalist and contender, continuing all through her senior year.
As a fierce competitor, one of the highlights for her was showing a gelding that she trained in 7 different events during AQYHA world championship show her senior year.
In 2005-2008 Her experience and knowledge helped her achieve many awards through the Extreme Cowboy Races and National Championships.
Following that she was introduced to the Extreme Mustang makeover, in 2008 which is a wild horse competition. As of today she has currently trained 12 horses for..
For Wylene this quickly became her specialty, she has always loved taking horses that were deemed untrainable and unrideable and turning them into something of value. She loves a challenge and she loves colt starting!
She has grown a fast reputation in the equine world through her participation in the Extreme Mustang makeovers events.
She is a two-time extreme Mustang Makeover Champion. She was the first female to have won the competition. Where she was featured in the popular documentary Wild Horse Wild Ride. Which reached movie theaters and international fans across the world in 2012. Numerous magazine articles and newspaper clips have been covered on Wylene's riding style and extreme horsemanship techniques. Including Western Horseman, and cowgirl magazine.
She has had many opportunities that have brought her to where what she is today. One of those was the chance to create a DVD Series called "Taming and training a wild mustang" with her lifelong friend and mentor Al Dunning. Which airs on RFD-TV and HRTV.
She was also one of the cast members who participated in a reality television series called Mustang Millionaire. Which aired on Nat Geo wild in December 2013
As her reputation and clinics grow so do her opportunities that come her way. Currently she is working with a well known equine based television/production company. On a new program that highlights her spirit, spunk, and style.
While she is not dabbling in Tv projects, she is traveling the country teaching and leading the horse lovers and fearful riders out of their "Funk." Building confidence and willing partnerships across this great land. Truly this is her passion, putting her experience and engaging personality out there. This spunky colorful individual is a joy to watch and a joy to learn from... her confidence building clinics and horsemanship classes that span the United States.. They Are Motivational and Fun Techniques to gain confidence over your fears but most of all they are educational.
This mother of 3 now resides in Southwest city Missouri , On a cattle ranch with her husband Randall.
